Vierailevat tanssijat ja opettajat Marisol Morales ja Alejandro Larenas (AR) Tampere Tango Festival ohjelma sisältää esiohjelman, jossa on argentiinalaisen tangon alkeiskurssi ja milongat, sekä pääviikonlopun ohjelmassa erikoisworkshoppeja vierailevien opettajien johdolla. Lisäksi ohjelmassa on päivä- ja iltamilongoita, joista lauantain iltamilongassa pääsemme nauttimaan arvostettujen opettajien huikeasta esityksestä.

The program of the Tampere Tango Festival features a pre-festival program with beginners’ course in Argentine tango and milongas and a main weekend program with special workshops led by our esteemed guest teachers. Additionally, the festival has both daytime and evening milongas, with the Saturday evening milonga being a highlight where we get to savor the incredible show put on by the guest teachers.
The guest maestros are recognized worldwide for their high quality teaching, exceptional classes and excellent dance performers. Don´t miss the chance to get to learn with them.

Tango de Pista – championship Salonkitangokilpailu kaikille tangon tanssijoille. Täysi-ikäisyys on ainoa vaatimus, jotta voit ilmoittautua, esim. tanssitasolla tai kansallisuudella ei ole väliä. Tanssin tyylistä ei myöskään ole erityistä sääntöä, mutta sosiaalitanssille tyypillisiä piirteitä ja rondassa tanssimista tulee kunnioittaa. We are glad to invite you to an unforgettable ”Salonkitangoviikonloppu” – Tango Salón Weekend in Tampere. For this occasion we receive the dancers specialized in this style of dance: Alvaro Bravo and Sabrina Raffa.
The full agenda includes workshops with Alvaro and Sabrina and a special milonga on Saturday with their show. During the milonga also will take place the first qualifying round for Tango de Pista – championship
What a tango weekend is coming!
Sabrina and Alvaro are formed by the traditional style of Villa Urquiza (well-known neighborhood of Buenos Aires). In 2011 they began to dance together and continue their training as dance partners guided by the Maestros Carlos Perez and Rosa Forte. They participated in the tango world cup and different amateur tournaments. Followed by exhibitions in distinguished milongas of the City such as La Baldosa, Sunderland, Sin Rumbo, among others in the interior of Buenos Aires. Sabrina also assisted the traditional Práctica of Carlos Pérez and Rosa Forte at the famous Club Sunderland.
Language of instruction: English, translation into Finnish if necessary.

12-13.15 Class 1. Abrazo y cadencia: tecnique and quality of the movement. BASIC CLASS OF TANGO SALON STYLE, RECOMMENDED FOR EVERYONE!!!
13.30-14.45 Class 2. Giros, enrosques and lapiz: dynamic turns, combinations and technique using the dissociation, the opposite energy and the floor.
15-16 Class 3. Vals: circular movements, waltz cadencia or quality of the movement, rhythmical and dynamic turns.

Tango de Pista – championship Tango De Pista – Finland Edition is an Argentine tango dance competition for all tango dancers. Being 18 years old is the only requirement for you to register, i.e. dance level or nationality does not matter. There is also no special rule about the style of the dance, the style is free, but dancing in the ronda must be respected. Come enjoy the tango and show the public how your tango feels like! The competition starts in April, come join us! There is no participation fee in the competition. More about the dance teachers
Alvaro Bravo began his training in 2009 at the Jose Neglia Dance School. At the end of the year he joined the ballet of the University of Morón with which they performed shows in different theaters in the West Zone of Greater Buenos Aires. In 2010 he began his search in the Tango Salon. Inspired by the Milongueros from before, he continued his training with renowned masters and professionals such as Carlos Perez, Daniel Nacucchio, Cristina Sosa and Fabián Peralta among others, mastering the traditional style of Villa Urquiza.
Sabrina Raffa began her studies in 1997 with jazz dance, classical, tap, and modern Jazz. Finalizing the teaching staff as a Senior Jazz Dance Teacher. In 2010 she started dancing Tango Salón in the Villa Urquiza neighborhood with the teachers Carlos Perez and Rosa Forte and since then she trained with different teachers and professionals.

Axis Syllabus, first consolidated by Frey Faust, is the union of anatomical qualities and ways of moving that seeks to be healthy and energy efficient. Axis Syllabus seeks to provide accessible information on body alignment and movement practice using physics, anatomy and relevant scientific studies in various fields as a guide. In its classes, the exercises bring effectively internal discoveries that can be translated into everyday life or any movement-focused activity.
The mission of this workshop is to use these principles within the expression of the Argentine Tango for a more comfortable execution, a better understanding of the potential of each individual body as well as clarity and high quality communication within the partner . We will work with specific Tango elements as well as with exercises from other somatic disciplines.
Who is it addressed to? It is aimed to anyone interested in body mechanics and/or Tango and dance.

Saturday morning workshops are a package and afternoon workshops other. So they are correlative workshops, they form a whole. Take comfortable clothes and followers take low and high heel shoes. Teaching will be in english.

Axis Syllabus, jonka ensimmäisenä kokosi yhteen Frey Faust, on yhdistelmä anatomisia ominaisuuksia ja liikkumisen malleja, jotka pyrkivät olemaan terveellisiä ja energiatehokkaita. Axis Syllabus pyrkii tarjoamaan ymmärrettävää tietoa kehon kohdistamisen ja liikkuvuuden harjoitteista hyödyntäen fysiikan, anatomian ja muiden alojen tieteellistä tutkimusta. Tunneilla harjoitukset auttavat tehokkaasti tekemään sisäisiä löytöjä, joita voidaan hyödyntää jokapäiväiseen elämään tai mihin tahansa liikekeskeiseen tekemiseen.
Tämän työpajan tavoittena on käyttää näitä periaatteita argentiinalaisen tangon ilmaisuun sen mukavampaa toteuttamista, kunkin kehon potentiaalin parempaa ymmärtämistä sekä kumppanin kanssa viestinnän selkeyttä ja laadun parantamista varten.
Työskentelemme käyttäen tiettyjä tangon elementtejä sekä muiden somaattisten taitojen harjoituksia.
Tarkoitettu kaikille, jotka ovat kiinnostuneita kehon mekaniikasta ja / tai tangosta ja tanssista.

Lauantain tunneista aamutunnit ovat yksi paketti ja iltapäivän tunnit toinen. Paketin tunnit on siis tarkoitettu käytäväksi yhdessä, ne muodostavat aihekokonaisuuden. Ota mukaan mukavat vaatteet ja seuraajana kengät sekä matalilla että korkeilla koroilla. Opetus on englanniksi.
Candela Ramos made her first dance steps in a ballet barre when she was 6 years old. She went through Ballet, Modern dance, Jazz, Contemporary jazz, Arabe, Yoga, Argentinian Folklore and many techniques of Contemporary Dance. She arrived in Tango at the age of 15. After a few years she met Dana Frigoli, Pablo Villarraza, and the Studio “DNI Tango,” where she studied vigorously as a teacher and dancer for 4 years. During this time she took charge of Contemporary dance classes and developed the TTC method for tango dancers (Tango Technology Concept, a technique applied at DNI studio). When Candela turned 21, she moved to Berlin, Germany in order to improve her contemporary dance. The method, which had the most influence on Candela, was “Axis Syllabus,” which she continues to research today and currently she is a candidate to be a certified Axis Syllabus Teacher. Candela continued to teach tango in Berlin, as well as traveling through Germany, Poland, Italy, Holland, Russia, France and Spain, where she was invited to participate in events and festivals.Now Candela is the Choreographer in a new production of the Parisian company “A part of the whole,” directed by Nathalie Bentolila, where she also participates as a dancer, actress and singer. Currently residing in Barcelona, Candela continues to work, inspiring new people into the Tango world.
Ayelet Yekutiel
Ayelet Yekutiel is a graduate of SEAD (AT), Sampoorna Yoga Teachers Training (IN) and ‘Kelim’ Choreography Studies (IL). Certified ‘Somatic Movement Educator’ of ‘Body-Mind Centering®’ and certified ‘Axis Syllabus’ teacher. As performer and collaborator she has worked with Nitzan Lederman, Daphna Horenczyk, Dafi Altabeb, Marcio Canabarro, Benjamin Vandewalle, Michael Schmid, Khaled Barghouthi, Alain Platel, and Sara Shelton Mann, amongst others. She is a founding member of ‘Augustine Collective’ and an independent teacher and choreographer, performing and sharing her work internationally.
